RETURNING TO LOVE
If you watched the masterclass and recognized your marriage in what I described, Returning to Love is where we do the work.
It's a 16-week group for women who love their husbands, know their relationship is safe, and are ready to stop managing intimacy around the flinching, bracing, avoiding, and pressure.
There are 10 women in each cohort, and I personally review every application.
If you are ready to start now

You love your husband. You know he's safe.
But knowing that hasn't stopped your body from reacting before you've had a chance to think.
He comes up behind you while you're making dinner and you tense.
You avoid the kiss that might turn into something more.
You stay busy because being unavailable feels easier than wondering whether tonight will become another conversation about sex.
And sometimes you have sex because resetting the clock feels easier than dealing with the tension when you don't.
You've probably tried to fix it in ways that made complete sense.
You've talked about it. You've tried date nights. Maybe you've done individual therapy, couples therapy, or both.
You understand your marriage better.
You may even understand yourself better.
But understanding why this happens hasn't changed what your body does when intimacy actually comes near.
That's the gap we work on inside Returning to Love.
By now, you understand why talking about intimacy, pushing through it, or trying to calm yourself down hasn't changed the automatic response.
Returning to Love is where we take what you understood in the masterclass and put it into practice.
Over 16 weeks, you'll learn to recognize the response as it's happening, settle your system in the moments that matter, interrupt the old pattern, and practice a different response inside the relationship where the shutdown actually happens.
Not by forcing yourself through touch. Not by having sex when you don't want to. And not by turning your husband into your therapist.
The goal is to change what happens before you ever get to that point.

The flinching goes. The bracing goes.
You don't have to keep yourself busy because you're worried that sitting next to him on the couch might turn into something you're not ready for.
You don't have sex just to reset the clock so you can stop thinking about when he'll ask again.
You stop counting the days.
You stop managing his mood, your mood, and whether every hug, kiss, or cuddle is going to lead somewhere.
And something else starts to come back.
You reach for him because you want to.
You curl up next to him on the couch without wondering what he'll expect afterward.
He kisses you in the kitchen and you can stay there for another second instead of your body immediately pulling away.
And a week can go by without sex and it's a non-thing, because neither of you is keeping score.
There's room for affection to just be affection again.
I want to be specific about the ordinary version of this, because it's the part no one describes.
We travel with my 86-year-old mother. My daughter joins us, along with whoever she's bringing. There's no privacy in any of it, and nothing about it is a setup for intimacy.
And it's not a problem.
When we're not having sex, we're close in other ways, and my husband doesn't experience that as rejection.
Ten years ago, a week like that would have been something I was managing before we ever left the house.
Now, there's nothing to manage.
That's the kind of change we're working toward inside Returning to Love.
HOW THE WORK IS BUILT

Recognize
the response
Weeks 1-4
You learn to catch what happens in your body before the automatic no, the pulling away, or the need to make yourself busy takes over.
Instead of realizing afterward that you shut down again, you start noticing the response while it's happening.
What starts to change:
He reaches for you and, instead of being blindsided by the tension in your body, you recognize what's happening.
You can tell the difference between I don't want this and my body just went into protection.
That distinction matters, because you can't change a response you don't recognize until it's already taken over.
Regulate
the system
Weeks 5-8
Once you can recognize the response, you learn what to do with it in the moments when it actually shows up.
Not an hour later. Not after the argument. Not during a breathing exercise you do by yourself.
In the kitchen. On the couch. In bed. In the real moments when your body starts to brace or pull away.
What starts to change:
You notice you don't shut down as quickly.
And when you do get activated, you can come back instead of losing the rest of the night to it.
Retrain
the signal
Weeks 9-12
Now we work with the exact point where your old response normally takes over and begin practicing something different there.
Not by pushing through.
Not by forcing yourself to tolerate touch.
By giving your body repeated experiences that show it intimacy doesn't automatically mean pressure, expectation, or something you have to endure.
What starts to change:
A hug can stay a hug.
A kiss doesn't automatically make your body prepare for what might come next.
You begin experiencing closeness without the same automatic need to brace, avoid, or get away from it.
Rewire
inside the relationship
Weeks 13-16
This is where the work moves more fully into the relationship itself.
Because being calm by yourself and staying connected when your husband reaches for you are two very different things.
You and your partner work through a progressive intimacy expansion that begins where your body actually is, not where either of you thinks it should be.
Partner exercises are optional. He is never in the group, and you're never asked to do something your body isn't ready for.
What starts to change:
You don't have to manage around him anymore.
You can tell him what's happening without it becoming another painful conversation about why you don't want sex.
He starts to understand how to be part of creating safety instead of accidentally adding pressure.
And closeness becomes something the two of you can build together instead of something you're each experiencing from opposite sides.
We're not retraining how you feel about touch.
And we're not asking you to push through discomfort until touch becomes easier.
We're changing what your body automatically does when intimacy registers as a threat even though you're with a safe partner.
There is no touch-based work inside Returning to Love.
You won't be asked to have sex when you don't want to, tolerate something activating, or prove that you're making progress by doing more physically.
The work starts before that.
Because when your body no longer has to protect you from intimacy, closeness doesn't require the same amount of managing in the first place.
What you'll have for the 16 weeks
Returning to Love isn't sixteen weeks of talking about intimacy and hoping something eventually clicks.
Each week gives you something specific to understand, practice, and use in the moments when the old response actually shows up.
WEEKLY LIVE GROUP CALLS
We meet for one hour every week for sixteen weeks.
The calls are women only, structured, and focused on the work we're doing at that point in the program.
This isn't open group processing or sixteen women taking turns talking about their marriages.
You'll know what we're working on, why we're working on it, and what to practice next.
A NEW MODULE THREE WEEKS OUT OF FOUR
The curriculum opens one phase at a time. Carrie takes you through one module a week on the live calls.
A video lesson you watch once.
An audio embodiment practice.
A written practice.
And an optional partner exercise.
The fourth week of each month is intentionally left without a new module so you're not constantly consuming more information. You have time to practice what you've already learned and notice what's actually changing.
TEN TO FIFTEEN MINUTES OF DAILY PRACTICE
This work is built to happen inside your existing life.
Most days, you'll spend five to ten minutes practicing.
Across the module, practices, and weekly call, expect up to about two hours a week, spread throughout the week.
You don't need to find a quiet hour every day or rearrange your life around the program.
OPTIONAL PARTNER PRACTICES
Your husband is not in the group.
As the work progresses, you'll have optional practices you can do together between calls.
He doesn't have to be ready for every exercise the moment you are, and you won't be held back because he's moving at a different pace.
His participation helps. But it isn't a requirement for you to begin.
PRIVATE GROUP CHAT WITH ME
Real life doesn't conveniently happen during our weekly call.
So when something comes up between sessions, you have a private group chat where I can help you troubleshoot what's happening while you're actually in the work.
Maybe you noticed yourself shut down and can't tell what triggered it.
Maybe something went differently with your husband and you want to understand why.
You don't have to wait a week and try to reconstruct the moment from memory.
TWO PROGRAMS YOU GET AS SOON AS YOU ENROLL
You don't have to wait for your cohort to begin before you start.
You'll immediately receive The Intimacy Reset, ten audio modules that give you your first experience of the kind of nervous system practice we'll use inside Returning to Love.
You'll also receive The Safety Code, four tactical modules you can begin using right away and, if you choose, work through alongside your husband.
So when the first group call arrives, you're not starting cold.
LIFETIME ACCESS TO THE CURRICULUM
The curriculum stays yours after the sixteen weeks end.
I also survey the women inside Returning to Love regularly. When I see the same issue coming up repeatedly, I create a targeted workshop for it and add it to the program.
Those additions stay yours too.
UPCOMING COHORTS
Returning to Love is capped at 10 women per cohort.
These are the upcoming groups currently planned:
Wednesdays 11am est
Starts October 14
Thursdays 4:15pm est
Starts November 12
Because each group is limited to 10 women, availability can change as applications are accepted.
You don't need to choose your cohort before our call.
If your application is a fit, we'll look at the available groups together on our call and choose the one that works best for your schedule.
If you're ready to start now and one of these upcoming cohorts could work for you:
WHY ONLY 10 WOMEN
Because this isn't a course where you disappear into a portal and do the work alone.
You spend sixteen weeks with the same women, and who is in that room matters.
The group needs to be small enough that I know you, you know the other women, and I can see what's happening as you move through the work.
Every cohort is capped at 10 women, and I lead every group myself.
That's also why I personally read every application.
I'm not only looking at whether Returning to Love can help you. I'm considering whether this is the right group environment for you and whether the women in it will benefit from doing this work together.
It's women only, structured, and focused on the Returning to Love curriculum.
It is not group therapy.
You've been experiencing intimacy shutdown for at least a year, and you recognize the flinching, bracing, avoiding, or pressure I described in the masterclass.
You love your husband, you want your marriage, and you know you're with a safe man.
You've already tried to understand what's happening. Maybe you've done therapy, couples counseling, had the conversations, worked on communication, or looked at hormones. You're not looking for another explanation. You're ready to work on the response itself.
You don't want a process that asks you to push through unwanted touch or sex in order to make progress.
Your husband is supportive of you doing this work, or he's willing to get there. He doesn't participate in the group and the partner practices are optional, but this work is strongest when you're both in agreement about what you're working toward.
You're willing to practice for 10 to 15 minutes most days and show up for the work between calls.
You're ready to start now. You're not looking for something interesting to think about for the next six months. If we're both confident this is the right fit, you're prepared to take one of the available spots in an upcoming cohort.
You're looking for a place to process trauma.
Many women inside Returning to Love have real trauma in their history, and it may come up during this work. But Returning to Love isn't group therapy or a trauma-processing group. If you have acute trauma that still needs to be processed, that work needs the appropriate therapeutic setting first.
You're actively considering leaving your marriage.
This work is built for women who want to move toward their partner, not women trying to decide whether they want to stay.
Your relationship is unsafe or abusive.
Everything inside Returning to Love assumes you're with a safe partner. We are not trying to teach your body to feel safe around someone who isn't.
You believe hormones are the entire explanation and aren't open to looking beyond them.
I'm 52, perimenopausal, and use hormone replacement, including testosterone. Hormones matter. But if you're certain correcting your hormones is the only thing required, this isn't the work you're looking for.
You want your husband to do the work for you.
He can be part of the process, and his support matters. But Returning to Love is your program. You're the one joining the group, learning the work, and practicing it.

I'm a licensed psychotherapist. I've spent more than twenty-five years doing this work and have worked with more than five hundred women experiencing this specific issue.
And I lived it myself.
Seven years into my marriage, I loved my husband and wanted my marriage, but intimacy had become something I dreaded and managed.
We spent $60,000 on five years of couples therapy. I spent at least twice that on individual therapy.
And I'm a therapist.
I had insight. I had language. I understood relationships professionally.
I still couldn't change what happened in my own body when intimacy came near.
That was the problem I eventually became determined to understand.
Once I stopped treating this like something I could think my way out of and began working with what my body was actually doing, things changed.
The flinching went.
The bracing went.
The constant managing went.
I'm now approaching twenty-two years of marriage, and at fifty-two, the closeness between my husband and me is deeper than I knew was possible when we were in the middle of it.
Returning to Love is the work I wish someone had been able to give me then, built into a sixteen-week curriculum I can now give you.

She told me her biggest win wasn't sex, it was cuddling. For years, she couldn't curl up next to her husband without bracing for what might come next. Cuddling, always carried pressure, so she stopped reaching for him altogether.
After doing this work, that changed. One night she leaned into him on the couch just because she wanted to. No pressure. No expectation. Just comfort and safety in his arms. She said, "I didn't realize how much I missed this until I had it back."

She told me, "All I want is to want intimacy again." For years, she went through the motions, feeling guilty that she didn't crave her husband the way she used to.
Within weeks, she noticed a shift. For the first time, she reached for him because she wanted to, not because she felt she should. That moment of genuine desire because the turning point in her marriage.

For so long, she believed feeling safe with her husband was out of reach. She loved him, but her body never let her fully trust closeness.
Inside Returning To Love, she experienced what she once thought was impossible genuine safety in his arms. She told me, "For the first time, I can breathe, relax, and just let him in." That single shift has changed everything about how the connect.

$5,000 paid in full
or
5 monthly payments of $1,097
You're not investing in more information about why intimacy shutdown happens.
By now, you already understand far more about the pattern than you did before the masterclass.
You're investing in sixteen weeks of actually changing what happens when that pattern shows up in your marriage, with my guidance as you do it.
Before you apply, make sure this is an investment you're prepared to make if we both decide Returning to Love is the right fit.
There is no payment required to apply or book your call.
IF YOU'RE READY, HERE'S WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
1. Complete your application and book your call.
These happen together.
I'll personally read your application before we speak.
I'm looking at whether I genuinely believe I can help you, whether this is the right group environment for you, and whether you're ready to begin now.
2. I'll review your application.
If I don't believe Returning to Love is the right fit, I'll let you know within 48 hours and tell you why.
We won't have a call simply because you booked one.
3. If it's a fit, you'll prepare for our conversation.
Once you book, you'll receive a short Before Our Call guide.
Read it before we meet.
It covers the program details I don't want us spending our call going back over, what to think through beforehand, and how to come prepared for our conversation.
4. We'll meet for 20 to 30 minutes.
This isn't a therapy call or a consultation about your marriage.
By then, you've watched the masterclass, read about the program, completed your application, and read the Before Our Call guide.
I've read your application too.
So we can spend our time on what I can't answer from a page: you.
We'll talk about the question or two specific to your situation, I'll answer anything you still need to know, and we'll decide whether Returning to Love is the right next step.
If it is, we'll look at the cohorts with availability, choose the one that works for you, and I'll enroll you on the call.
If I don't think it's right for you, I'll tell you that too.
Partner exercises are optional in every module. He is not in the group. His participation helps, and it is not required for you to do this work.
Therapy is excellent at insight. This retrains what your body does in real time. If you already understand your patterns and your body still tightens, checks out, or goes numb, that is the layer nobody has addressed.
No. There is no touch-based work here. Sensate focus and sex therapy retrain how you feel about touch, and for the right woman with the right issue they work. This retrains what your body does when it perceives a threat around intimacy that is not there.
Five to ten minutes a day, woven into what you already do, plus the weekly module. About two hours a week.
Yes. This is nervous system work, and it teaches you how to open your window of tolerance, which is the nervous system word for capacity.
Because you co-regulate with the other women, and that cannot be replicated alone. It is capped at ten, it is women only, and it is not group therapy. There is no endless processing.
By the end of month one, women are starting to feel shifts in the body. By the end of month two, they are noticing they respond differently, to themselves and to their husband.
You keep lifetime access to the curriculum and to every workshop I add. The work is built to keep holding.
Consistency matters more than perfection. Calls are recorded.
You don't need to decide whether Returning to Love will work for you from this page.
You only need to decide whether you're ready to find out if it's the right fit.
If you watched the masterclass, recognized yourself in this work, and you're ready to start now, complete the application and book your call.
I'll read your application myself.
If I believe I can help you, we'll talk.
